Manchester City Council continues to disproportionately fund projects in immigrant areas, such as Longsight, Moss Side and Cheetham Hill. Large amounts of money are made available for training schemes in digital marketing along with job fairs and even extra support for Asian woman during their pregnancy.
Areas of Manchester such as Harpurhey and Collyhurst, which for now are majority white, also face similar or worse levels of unemployment and poverty, but receive little to no funding.
The adverts for support services in immigrant districts this year (like last year) are further strong evidence of Manchester City Council’s neglect of the White British working class.
