The following short post was submitted by a comrade from Leeds and is her reaction on hearing the news that Starmer and his socialist comrades are actioning the Blairite vision of mandatory digital ID cards.
They told us that it will make our lives easier and safer. That they will help to control our borders and stop the economic invaders from getting jobs and disappearing into the Black Economy. Most European countries already have them, the apologists for the government will chirp. We have passports, driving licences and when needed, vaccine passports. How sensible to combine them all in one card. And why not include you bank details and National Insurance number while we are at it.
How convenient, how 21st Century, to not have to carry our passports, or show your utility bills, to prove that we are who we say we are. But what about our people who aren’t technology savvy, our pensioners and the disabled. Never mind them, we’ve a new world order to build.
If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear, as the people we should fear often say. Digital IDs are another step along the road to a dystopian future that seems to be following the roadmap set out by the globalists and the World Economic Forum, with its ‘you will own nothing and be happy’. A future that we have seen in countless Hollywood sci-fi movies.
Today, many of the things we watched and said couldn’t happen here, have. We are tracked constantly when driving our cars, our mobile phones are pinging our location every few hundred yards and CCTV camera’s watch our every move. And don’t forget our digital, cashless society.
We need look no further than the Peoples Republic of China to see how what starts out at being sold to us as for our own good, to make life easier and safer, ends up being Orwell’s worst nightmare.
This isn’t about safety, convenience or stopping the boats. It is about control, pure and simple.
