Today, I spent some time helping to keep our local environment clean by doing a litter pick in a woodland area in Southport. Over the course of the session, I collected three full bags of rubbish – including plastic bottles, cans, food wrappers, and other general litter that had been left behind.
It was great to see how much of a difference just a short effort can make. The woodland looks noticeably tidier and safer for local wildlife. Every small action adds up, and I’d encourage anyone who enjoys these outdoor spaces to take a few minutes to help keep them clean and a safer place for our folk.
