Welcome to the first post in our new “At Least We’re Not Speaking German” series. In a recent, widely watched interview, Tory reactionary Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg clashed with American commentator Tucker Carlson over his views on World War II and Adolf Hitler. Rees-Mogg is a former employee of J Rothschild Investment Management.
Rees-Mogg defended the UK’s wartime actions, stating that otherwise, “We’d be speaking German.” Carlson responded with, “Who cares? There are a lot of people in Britain who can’t speak English.” Rees-Mogg recently released a video in which he stated: “The English are a mongrel people, not an Aryan master race.”
