Marxism on the streets as an unwelcome new addition on the far-Left spreads its wings. On the weekend of October 18th 2025, it is the turn of Huddersfield to receive the political wisdom of Marxist class conflict and anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist revolutionary attention.
Obviously, the Corbyn/Sultana party has its eager leftist eyes on the old Labour Party supporting towns of West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire, the so-called ‘Red Wall’ voting parliamentary seats.
It was under the Labour governments of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown that the Labour Party turned its back on the traditional White working class voters of the ‘Red Wall’ and pushed ahead with the Cultural Marxist ‘drive for diversity’, the push by the Labour government to make “Britain truly multicultural”.
It was a time when the North London metropolitan political ‘revolutionaries’ pushed their way into influencing government policy and led to the brief period of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour Party leader. Then Corbyn was expelled from the Labour Party by Sir Keir Starmer and together with the ‘independent’ MP Zarah Sultana set up the so-called ‘Your Party’ – its official name undecided.
Now the would-be revolutionary leader Corbyn and his ethnic minority collaborator Zarah Sultana have had something of a falling out and she is working more closely with elements from the Socialist Alliance and in West Yorkshire with Kirklees PACE.

“This party, and this march, will stand clearly against the genocide in Gaza, Reform UK’s poisonous racism, and all cuts and austerity. It will stand uncompromisingly for rent controls and affordable housing, trans rights, taxing the rich to fix our public services, and for public ownership instead of privatisation.
“The launch of Your Party signifies one of the most significant moments this century, and will be a beacon nationally and internationally for all those seeking a genuine pro-working class, anti-capitalist and socialist alternative.”
Huddersfield certainly does not need the presence of Zarah Sultana and a crowd of Cultural Marxist agitators. The White working class voters and non-voters of West Yorkshire do not require their speeches or any lectures on ‘building a revolutionary movement dedicated to dialectical materialism’ and other neo-Trotskyist claptrap.
What would Lenin do today?
Last year, (December 2024), the ‘Daily Telegraph’ ran an article which provided an unusual insight into the ideological background of the new, so far unnamed, far-Left political party being put together by Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana. The article made it clear where the ideological motivation for ‘Your Party’ was coming from. The article titled ‘New Corbyn party asks ‘what would Lenin do today’ declares close advisor.’ This just about sums up the campaign and policy ideas behind Corbyn and Sultana.
Yorkshire certainly does not need yet another middle-class, metropolitan elite dominated Marxist party agitating on its streets and university or college campuses, much less in its town and city centres.
