While Andy Burnham was out of town watching football with Canadian PM Mark Carney, a team of dedicated BM comrades took to the streets to deliver vital supplies to the local homeless population.
Our volunteers distributed:
- Food parcels, fresh fruit, snacks and bottled water.
- Medical kits and personal hygiene items for men and women.
- Dog food, personal safety alarms, clean socks and waterproof ponchos.
During the outreach, one comrade used his first-aid training to treat an injured man on the street. Our populace should not have to endure such conditions!
Alongside our outreach, Sunwheel flags and our WLM banner were displayed to honour fallen comrades lost to the consequences of diversity. Our ancestors fought for a future that looks vastly different from today’s reality – and we will not let their memory be forgotten.
BM remains committed to delivering aid, hope, and relief to those who need it most. Where others look away, we step up.
