Among the ancient Germanic peoples, the coming of spring was not merely a change in weather; it was a cosmic event. A visible sign that the long struggle of winter had ended and that life, once again, had prevailed.

One simple Ostara ritual is to just connect with nature and allow yourself to be fully present in the beauty of the natural world. With this in mind, British Movement Northwest activists ventured into the woods to celebrate the dawning of Spring.
A great time was enjoyed by all present – camaraderie, sweet mead, great food, and even a family-friendly scavenger hunt.
The flowers are blooming, the crops are growing, and Aryan babies are being born.
Honour the seasons, honour Ostara and honour life – for the Wheel of the Year keeps turning.
