British Movement Northern Region highlights another example of a non-European cultural takeover being introduced and funded by a government department.
Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) advert for a job vacancy in Didsbury, Manchester, for a ‘Shariah Law Administrator.’
A classic case of entryism, introducing such concepts as a role for an expert in Shariah law within a regional office of the DWP. This is multiculturalism being funded by the public purse.
Not surprisingly, the existence of this advertised post for the Department of Work and Pensions has raised more than a few questions from some MPs, particularly amongst the Reform UK MPs and former Reform UK MP Rupert Lowe.
A key question that needs to be answered by the Labour government is why such a major government department is looking to accommodate this Islamic religious organisation when Shariah law has no legal standing in British domestic law. Another important question that needs to be answered is, who authorised the creation of this post and approved the funding for this post?
As this article is being prepared for publication, word has reached us that the DWP has taken the job advertisement offline because of the level of public outcry and the political pressure from some mainstream politicians. However, there is no indication as to whether or not the post has been cancelled, and this episode raises questions as to if similar positions exist in other northern cities such as Bradford or Sheffield.
Shariah law has no place within the established UK legal system and no authority in the national political structure.
