Making Hay While The Sun Shines

Formby beach cleanup

With the great weather upon us, a few of our British Movement Northwest Environmental Volunteers decided to head to the sunny Formby coast for a great day of fresh air and exercise, along with gaining a real sense of having done something important to help a special place.

Formby beach covers an area roughly the size of 800 football pitches and is definitely one of the better coastal regions in the Northwest, with sand dunes and wildlife, particularly the endangered red squirrel and natterjack toad.

Our BMNW Environmental Volunteers are an outdoor conservation group that helps with practical conservation work at properties in the North West. If you would like to join us, there are tasks for all levels of fitness: you could be litter-picking, clearing scrub, maintaining woodland, repairing fences or footpaths or planting trees and hedges.

Become part of a friendly and dedicated team, meet people from all walks of life and forge new friendships. Utilise your existing skills and learn new ones. Enjoy the great outdoors and learn about the history of the unique and special places in the Northwest of England.

The beauty of National Socialism lies in its bond with nature.

British Movement is out every week doing IRL activism. Play your part and join us.
