Cultural Enrichment in Cheshire and the Wirral

Hoylake protests

The latest high profile case of an illegal immigrant committing a serious criminal offence against an underage, White British child comes from Stockport. Although Stockport falls under the political scope of Greater Manchester and therefore policing there is the responsibility of Greater Manchester Police, the housing of ‘asylum-seekers’ in more affluent parts of Cheshire is the reality.

Although the migrant was arrested a few weeks ago in mid-July, reports about the situation were only being reported in the mainstream media when the offender appeared in court last week. There is evidence nationally of the police, local politicians and a compliant news media of throwing up a smokescreen around sexual and other serious crimes being committed by migrants currently housed in hotels at public expense.

Although the West Midlands do not fall within the scope of British Movement Northern region, in recent days reports have leaked out about the rape of an underage girl in Nuneaton by two Afghan migrants being hushed up by police and similar accounts of local councils being advised not to make public crimes by ‘asylum-seekers’, especially by those being housed in hotels. Apparently protecting ‘community cohesion’ is the priority.

Despite arriving in the news outlets somewhat late, the Stockport offence did push some mainstream news media into reporting the crime, although this was by no means turned into a nationwide story and in some cases the details were kept sparse.

The Sun. August 3rd 2025. KIDNAP CHARGE

“Migrant ‘tried to kidnap a little girl, 10,’ while living in 3-star taxpayer-funded asylum hotel in leafy suburb. Edris Abdelrazig was arrested for allegedly trying to lure away the girl while she was with her father. The Sudanese man appeared in court accused of attempting to take the girl of ten while she was with her father.”

Daily Mail

“Edris Abdelrazig, 30, was arrested in Stockport, Greater Manchester after allegedly trying to lure the child away on July 13. He had been living in a £100-a-night hotel which now houses migrants in Wilmslow, Cheshire, before the alleged incident.

Abdelrazig appeared in court on July 15 where prosecutors said he had travelled two miles south of the hotel to Walnut Tree Playing Field in Stockport. It is claimed he then tried to abduct the girl, who was accompanied by her father, near the playing field before police came and arrested him.

“He appeared at Stockport magistrates’ court after being arrested by Greater Manchester Police, and was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Aug 26.

“A spokesman for the force said: “A man has been charged in connection with an incident which occurred on Algreave Road, Stockport, at around 8pm on July 13. “Edris Abdelrazig of Wilmslow Road, Manchester, has been charged with attempted child abduction.”

The press coverage quoted above reveals a good deal about the time delay in reporting the crime and the details of the offender. It is of course not in the best interests of the police or the Home Office to make public the fact that this migrant predator “had been living in a three-star, £100-a-night hotel in the leafy suburb of Wilmslow.” For those who know this part of Cheshire, Wilmslow is not so much a suburb of Greater Manchester, but is an affluent small town in its own right, certainly more middle-class and less ‘diverse’ than an inner city urban suburb.

So far there is little else being reported about Edris Abdelrazig other than his age, no confirmation of his nationality or asylum status, but once again a clear indication that this offender does not share or understand British laws, customs or accepted social standards of behaviour.

No doubt there are any number of left-wing and liberal progressives looking to avoid the reality of yet another unacceptable incident of unwanted ‘cultural enrichment’ by a taxpayer-funded migrant resident of a hotel.

Nationally the public outcry against the housing of migrants in hotels continues to grow, and the Home Office and its allied agencies refuse to release full details of how many and which hotels are being used to house illegal immigrants and so-called ‘asylum seekers’.

The best informed media outlets can only identify between 50 and 60 hotels nationally, although most believe that the actual number is in excess of 250 hotel premises across mainland Britain. Meanwhile at Hoylake on the Wirral – locals react to the increasing cultural enrichment of their neighbourhoods as more migrants are housed in a local hotel complex.

As with the previous report from Stockport, very few national mainstream news media outlets have taken any interest in the protests at Hoylake. The local newspaper, the Wirral Globe, has shown the most interest, closely followed by the Merseyside newspaper, the Liverpool Echo, although the tone of the reporting speaks for itself.

Liverpool Echo: Wirral Council speaks out after three nights of hotel protests

“Wirral Council bosses have spoken out about the situation at a hotel in the borough that has been the setting for multiple protests and counter-demonstrations this week. On Thursday evening, people gathered outside to protest outside the King’s Gap Hotel, formerly the Holiday Inn Express in Hoylake. One woman at the front of the protest was wearing a “Free Tommy Robinson” t-shirt. Some in this group were holding banners with messages such as “No More Immigrants.”

“Around 40 counter protests gathered to oppose the demonstration, carrying placards stating: “no excuse for racism” and “stop the far right.” Earlier this week Reform UK and the Conservatives both issued letters claiming that asylum seekers would be put into the hotel.”

Daily Express: Migrant hotel protest in seaside town triggers police as families turfed out for men

“Police were called to the former Holiday Inn, now The Kings Gap, in Hoylake on Tuesday night (July 29) after social media reports claimed that the Home Office had “unilaterally” decided to shift the hotel’s use from housing asylum-seeking families to single males. Relocations are rumoured to be starting later this week.

“Wirral Council is said to have “strongly opposed” the change in use of the premises, while local residents are said to be angry over what they see as a “lack of transparency and communication” on the issue. One told the WirralGlobe: “I’m particularly concerned about the implications on community safety and safeguarding – and what risk assessments have been completed.”

“In a Facebook post updated on Tuesday, Ward Councillor News for Hoylake, Meols & Central West Kirby said: “We’re informing you on a concerning move by the Home Office regarding the former Holiday Inn, now The Kings Gap Hotel, in Hoylake. After their National Review, the Home Office has unilaterally decided to shift the hotel’s use from housing asylum-seeking families to single males, with relocations starting by July’s end-this week.”

“It’s important that we all take shared responsibility for respecting the peace, safety, and wellbeing of our neighbours – especially the families who are still residing in the facility.” Merseyside Police confirmed Tuesday’s protest was peaceful and there were no arrests.

Wirral Council on August 1 issued a statement on the use of the hotel. A statement posted by the local authority said a change of use hadn’t happened yet, adding: “The building is already used as asylum seeker accommodation for families but the government’s plan is to move existing occupants out and move a new group in.

“We – the council – object to the plans, but we don’t have any authority to refuse: it’s a government decision. We’re still working with them and we’re in close contact with Merseyside Police and other partners to monitor the situation so we’re well placed to manage any issues.

“Ultimately the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the Hoylake community, including asylum seekers, is
the top priority.”

On August 1, Hoylake councillors Andrew Gardner, Max Booth and Tony Cox said the council was still investigating whether the proposed use of the hotel requires planning permission and were seeking further information relating to the proposal. In a post, they added, “In the meantime, we strongly advise everyone not to gather at the property to protest.”

Last week, Green co-leader Gail Jenkinson urged people to contact their local MP if they had concerns, adding: “This has caused real distress to people who are already in a difficult situation.”

She added: “We would also like to thank the police for serving and protecting everyone who lives in Hoylake, including people who have fled violence. Anyone who has any concerns about illegal activity should contact them directly.”

David Burgess-Joyce, the chairman of Wirral Reform, said they were “concerned about this move on a number of fronts.” He urged their supporters to “act professionally and within the law” and asked that “all online comments, protests, and actions are considered carefully.”

The comments by the Green Party councillor sums up the attitudes of the liberal progressives, at every opportunity they denounce the protests and offer excuses for the migrants and hide their ideological concerns behind praise for the police.
