Rochdale: Another ‘Grooming Gang’ Trial

Rochdale grooming gang
More convictions and the same sordid story of justice delayed and the toxic byproducts of multiculturalism

There is little evidence of real justice after so many years. The original wave of these particular evil crimes took place between 2001 and 2006. Why has it taken so many years to get justice for the two victims?

This time the trials took place at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, at the conclusion of a long-running series of trials of ‘Pakistani heritage’ men from Rochdale. This specific trial has been running since January 2025.

As with a recent grooming/rape gang trial of Pakistani Muslim men from Keighley at Bradford Crown Court, once again at least one defendant has absconded and is believed to have escaped to Pakistan. The Keighley gang trial was reported here on BM Northern region.

Note that on this occasion the Manchester Evening News was honest enough to report accurately: “International manhunt underway for Rochdale grooming gang ‘coward’ who fled the country. Kasir Bashir, 50, was convicted in his absence – jurors weren’t told he had fled the country.”

And more revealing that: “In his absence Bashir, of Napier Street East, Oldham, was convicted of multiple counts of rape and indecency with a child, referred to in press reports of the case as Child B. After the trial ended today, it can now be revealed Bashir, who had been answering his bail in the run-up to the trial, fled the country before the case began at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court in January.”

The reason for his absence can now be reported after press restrictions on the matter were lifted, prompting Greater Manchester Police to issue a wanted appeal. “We don’t know where Bashir is, but we are determined to find him no matter where he thinks he can hide,” said GMP in a statement.”

The sordid, depressing details are given below, taken directly from regional mainstream news media, and it is worth noting that some of those convicted at this latest trial had previously been convicted at earlier Rochdale grooming gang trials and yet these men were once again walking the streets of Rochdale.

It is hardly surprising to note that most of the mainstream news media outlets, both printed and online, carefully avoid making any reference to the ethnic backgrounds of the convicted men. For left-wing and politically liberal ‘progressive’ journalists, criticism of the behaviour of ethnic minorities runs counter to their ideological commitment to multiculturalism and ‘diversity is our strength’.

So some headlines were limited to this: “Seven men convicted for sexually exploiting children in Rochdale.”

Others were a little more honest: “Rochdale gang convicted for raping and exploiting teenage girls for five years. The victims were expected to have sex ‘whenever and wherever’, the court heard.”

Significantly, the more conservative inclined ‘Daily Mail’ stands out for being more truthful in this case. “Rochdale Asian grooming gang found guilty of raping and abusing two teenage girls who were used as ‘sex slaves’ over a period of five years.”

So for those readers with a strong stomach, a determination to read the truth and to recognise the damage that mass immigration has done to indigenous British communities and the failure of the police, local authorities and the court systems to seriously pursue these cases in a swift manner, here are the court report details.

“Seven members of the latest Rochdale Asian grooming gang have been convicted of exploiting two young girls as ‘sex slaves’. The gang preyed on the vulnerabilities of the victims to groom them from the age of 13 over a five-year-long campaign of abuse between 2001 and 2006. Both girls had ‘deeply troubled home lives’ and were given drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, places to stay and people to be with, Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court heard.

“They were expected to have sex ‘whenever and wherever’ the defendants and other men wanted in filthy flats, on rancid mattresses, in cars, car parks, alleyways and disused warehouses. Jurors deliberated for three weeks before delivering their unanimous guilty verdicts on Friday.”

“Three of the abusers, Mohammed Zahid, 64, Mushtaq Ahmed, 67, and Kasir Bashir, 50, – all born in Pakistan – were stallholders on Rochdale’s indoor market. The gang’s depraved ringleader Zahid was even known as ‘Knickerman’ because of his underwear stall at the centuries-old trading hub.

“In 2016, Zahid was jailed for five years in an earlier grooming gang case after he engaged in sexual activity in 2006 with a 15-year-old girl who he met when she visited his stall to buy tights for school. Bashir did not attend the current trial as jurors were ordered not to speculate why, but it can be revealed that he absconded while on bail before the trial got underway.

“It can also be reported that co-defendants Mohammed Shahzad, 44, Naheem Akram, 48, and Nisar Hussain, 41, were remanded in custody with their bail revoked in January before the jury was sworn in.

“A seventh defendant, Pakistani-born Roheez Khan, 39, also featured in another previous Rochdale grooming trial in 2013 when he was one of five men convicted of sexually exploiting a ‘profoundly vulnerable’ 15-year-old girl in 2008 and 2009. Khan was jailed for six and a half years for engaging in sexual activity with a child and witness intimidation.

“As the pair’s abusers now face lengthy prison terms, it can be revealed that two – including Zahid, who also used the nickname ‘Bossman’ – have already spent time behind bars over Rochdale child sex rings. Jurors also weren’t told that the three British-born members of the gang were locked up partway through the trial following ‘intelligence’ that they planned to flee to Pakistan. A fourth skipped bail as the case got underway and was tried in his absence – his whereabouts are unknown.”

It is worth noting that in many of these ‘grooming gang’ trials there are defendants who fail to appear in court for trial because they have absconded overseas. For veteran British racial Nationalists reading this article, let us remind you of anti-immigration protests back in the 1970’s and 80’s, where BM, NF and other racial Nationalists marching under placards stating “Stop Immigration – Start Repatriation”, we would be confronted by counter protestors from the assorted political left, carrying placards stating, “Here to Live Here To Stay”.

Except in many cases when immigrants and also second-generation immigrants are in trouble with the law, all too often these people quickly disappear back to their ethnic homelands and into the cities and villages of Pakistan, India, Jamaica, East Africa or West Africa. (delete as appropriate).

As this article is being written, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has made yet another policy U-turn and has reversed his earlier decisions by stating that he will now establish a judge-led national inquiry into the grooming/rape gang scandal that has plagued British towns and cities for at least 40 or more years.

After avoiding the public demand for years, finally a legally enforced public inquiry will seek to uncover the truth about Pakistani Muslim rape/grooming gangs that have directly affected more than 50 British towns and cities.

Time will tell if this national inquiry will adequately and honestly deal with the enormity of the ‘grooming gang’ scandals, or will political expediency and the need to protect multiculturalism and ‘social cohesion’ force compromises and cover-ups.
