The Middle East Conflict Comes to the Streets of Manchester – Part 5

The first acts of the new ’British’ Prime Minister Andy Burnham, will please Israel as well as their Zionist Jewish supporters in Britain and America.

Burnham approved American use of UK bases for air strikes on Iran and has appointed Ed Miliband (who is Jewish) as Britain’s new Foreign secretary. Can he be impartial regarding the Middle East conflict? Burnham is also expected to promote former Makerfield MP Josh Simons, to lead Downing Street’s key head of policy unit.

So, Muslims in Greater Manchester will now feel alarmed that one of our regions most fervent Zionist Jews, will now be operating at the centre of power in Britain, alongside Labour’s new LFI (Labour Friends of Israel) Prime Minister and our new Jewish Foreign Secretary. This development will dismay Muslim supporters of Palestine who clash with supporters of Israel on the streets of Manchester. I expect that more Muslims will now support their own sectarian parties.

This development at national government level comes during a time of rising community tensions between Muslims and their Jewish neighbours living within the sectarian religious ‘cauldron’ that is now Manchester. We have also imported from the Indian sub-continent the ancient hate shown between Muslims and Hindus. However, their enmity is eclipsed by the murderous hostility many Muslims are now showing towards Jews.

Most Mancunians were shocked when, on October 2nd 2025, during the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, an Islamic terrorist, Jihad al-Shamie, a 35 year old ‘British citizen’ who was born in Syria, drove a car into Jewish pedestrians before stabbing worshippers at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation, a synagogue in Higher Crumpsall, a northern suburb of Manchester. Disturbingly, this Islamist terrorist lived nearby in Prestwich!

There is a large Jewish community in Prestwich which, together with neighbouring Whitefield, Broughton and Crumpsall makes up the second largest Jewish community in the UK outside London. When I was a schoolboy, we English lads used to jokingly ask Jewish schoolboys at the bus stop “When is the next bus to Prestwich, Jew?” It was a silly play on words, we did not really intend to offend those Jewish schoolboys!

The serious point I want to make is that I grew up amongst many Jewish neighbours in Manchester and although I noticed that they were strange and usually better off than me. I never disliked them. So disturbingly, despite this Muslims living amongst Jews for many years in Prestwich, he hated them so much that he was willing to sacrifice his own life in order to mass murder as many of his Jewish neighbours as he felt able to!

Alarmingly, we now also know that the Muslim synagogue attacker was not alone in his suicidal murderous intent to cause mayhem and mass casualties. Because video footage has emerged showing the Manchester synagogue attacker, Jihad al-Shamie, 35, and his associate Mohammed Bashir, 31, of Cheetham Hill, Manchester, (another large Jewish neighbourhood), discussing them both becoming Islamic suicide martyrs!

Mohammed Bashir, drove his friend, Jihad al-Shamie, on a 10 hour round trip to conduct a hostile reconnaissance at the UK’s Defence Academy in Shrivenham, Oxfordshire, on August 14th 2025. Consequently, Mohammed Bashir, was recently jailed for life with a minimum of 17 years at Manchester Crown Court, after pleading guilty to a charge of preparing to commit a terrorist act together with Jihad al-Shamir.

Prior to Bashir’s sentencing, the court was shown footage of the moment the pair discussed ‘going green bird’. A terrorism expert told Manchester Crown Court that in Islamic literature the “green birds of paradise are intimately linked to notions of martyrdom.” Martyrdom in Islam, refers to sacrificing one’s life for the sake of faith and a noble cause, often in the context of resisting oppression (like in Palestine). It is highly revered by Muslims with the belief that martyrs are granted forgiveness and a special status in the afterlife.

Mohammed Bashir’s foiled attempt to become yet another Islamist ‘martyr’ followed a prior Islamist plan to massacre members of Manchester’s Jewish community that was only prevented by a successful undercover police operation. Fortunately this planned Islamist shooting spree attack on Jews in Manchester was foiled.

Anti-Israel feeling since the mass slaughter of Palestinian civilians in Gaza began is stoking violence against Jews in Britain. There are now numerous examples of many radicalised Muslims either attacking or plotting murderous attacks on Britain’s vulnerable Jewish community. These Muslim terrorists feel that they are showing solidarity with their oppressed Muslim Palestinian brothers and sisters in Gaza by “globalising their intifada”.

Promoting Simons will increase Zionist control over our government!
