Vote Labour, Get Grooming Gangs! – Part 4

Peterborough City Council leader, Dennis Jones

When Labour’s Peterborough City Council leader, Dennis Jones, was recently exposed for describing over 1,400 English working-class schoolgirl victims of the Pakistani rape gangs in Rotherham as “poor white trash”, he showed the contempt that he and many of his now middle-class Labour leaders really have for poor white working-class girls.

Jones resigned after his WhatsApp comment was exposed by fellow councillor Daisy Blakemore-Creedon, because she was upset when he mocked her fear of migrants putting women’s safety at risk by responding: “Oh so white British cops f****ng poor white trash in Rotherham is OK is it?”

Jones was referring to claims made in 2025 by five women, that during the 1990’s and 2000’s, while they were being raped by Pakistani gangs in Rotherham, they were also being raped by policemen supposed to protect them!

Serving South Yorkshire Police officers are now being accused of colluding, assisting and participating in Rotherham’s lucrative Pakistani drugs and schoolgirl shagging business!

Three former officers have been arrested since December 2024 on suspicion of historic sexual offences. None have yet been charged, but the BBC reported in July 2025 that one of these alleged victims had named the late PC Hassan Ali, as having raped her. She told the BBC: “The first time, he literally said; “You do it for the other officer. So you’re gonna do it for me!” The other unnamed police officer cited as her abuser seems to have been allowed to retire early by South Yorkshire Police. The victim said that both officers who abused her, including Ali, were also involved in supplying drugs!

Sadly, PC Hassan Ali died in 2015 after being hit by a car on the same day that he was put on restricted duties because of his alleged misconduct being examined by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC). But his death in an ‘accident’ looks suspicious. PC Ali was under investigation for his alleged links to Pakistani drugs and child sex trafficking gangs in Rotherham, so his death was unlucky as it affected a wider investigation into corrupt police officers inside South Yorkshire Police.

The early retirement of other police officers who may have been corrupted by their ties to Pakistani Muslim crime gangs who were profiting from trafficking drugs and schoolgirls is also suspicious. As a local government officer, I know that early retirement and generous voluntary severance deals are often used in the public sector to remove staff whose conduct has brought the authority into disrepute.

I believe that the late PC Hassan Ali was corrupted by his links with the gangs and also abused their victims. During the 2016 trial of a serial child abuser, Arshid Hussain, details of a weird incident in 2000 involving PC Ali and Arshid Hussain’s powerful local councillor cousin, Jahangir Akhtar, were described by Hussain’s victim, Sammy Woodhouse, who was aged 30 in 2016. She said that Mr Akhtar and PC Ali made an agreement for her to be handed over to police at a petrol station by Hussain in exchange for him not being detained for taking her after she went missing from her home with him. However, Sammy Woodhouse was pregnant and aged only 14 when Hussain handed her over in 2000!

At his trial in 2016, Arshid Hussain was found guilty of charges involving Sammy Woodhouse, including abduction and repeat offending of the same kind from November 1999 to June 2000.

Moreover, at their 2016 trial, Arshid Hussain and his two brothers, Basharat and Bannaras Hussain received a total of 79 years in prison between them on multiple counts of raping and exploiting teenagers. Their uncle and two others also received jail time for their part in Hussain’s rape gang.

In August 2013, Jahangir Akhtar resigned as deputy leader of Rotherham council, but he resumed his post in November 2013 after being cleared of claims that he knew of a relationship between a vulnerable girl (Sammy Woodhouse) in care and a suspected child abuser (Arshid Hussain). Still, the evidence given by Sammy Woodhouse during the trial of Arshid Hussain’s rape gang in 2016 must renew concern about the conduct of Jahangir Akhtar and of the late PC Hassan Ali in 2000.
