A 24th man has just been charged in Bradford with the rape of a 13-year-old girl more than ten years ago. Twenty-four men, just one 13-year-old girl. Where is the #MeToo movement shouting about this appalling abuse? Victim and perpetrators are the wrong class and race. Let’s all brush it under the carpet and pretend it isn’t happening. But we will not forget. Nor will we forgive.
The Pakistani men involved all described the children as worthless and undeserving of basic respect and decency because they were not part of their religion or community. But is the grooming epidemic as safely in the past as the authorities would have us believe?
Councils (usually Labour-run) and the police, paralysed by fear of being called racist, criminally failed to protect the young children in their care – and all for fear of damaging community relations. Lessons have been learnt they chirp, but findings from an Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), published this year, said the grooming is still going on in all parts of England and Wales in the ‘most degrading and destructive ways’.

Detectives investigating non recent child sex offences in Bradford have charged another man.
23 men charged have already appeared in court throughout September. All charges relate to incidents on one female victim which are alleged to have occurred in the Bradford area between 2007 and 2011. This latest charge takes the total number of people charged in this investigation to 24.
Omar Taj 35 of Bradford has been charged with the rape of a child aged 13-15. He will appear at Bradford Magistrates tomorrow Friday 7 October.

Seven men are to appear in court after being charged with non recent child sex offences in Bradford. All charges relate to incidents on one female victim which are alleged to have occurred in the Bradford area between 2007 and 2011.
Tomorrow will see the last of the 23 men charged in this investigation appearing in court. Tomorrow (30 September) the last seven men will appear in court.

Pasquale Massimo, 40 is charged with rape and rape of a child aged 13-15.
Khazer Hussain 41 from Oldham is charged with Conspiracy to rape and false imprisonment.
Syed Shabir 39 of Oldham is charged with Conspiracy to rape and false imprisonment.
Abbas Hussain, 41 is charged with multiple rapes and arranging and facilitating the prostitution of a child aged 13 – 17.
Mussadaq Hussain 37 is charged with rape.
Amjad Hussain 36, of Keighley is charged with multiple rapes and arranging and facilitating the prostitution of a child aged 13-17.
Syed Hassan Basharat 33 of Keighley is charged with multiple rapes.
