Leading from the Front

ladies leading the way in Newcastle

Another Saturday and another protest against migrants occupying the New Bridge Hotel in Newcastle city centre. In attendance were a a group of patriots known as the Pink Ladies.

Every Saturday for at least the last 45 weeks, come raine or shine, these women have turned out to protest against the migrant invaders occupying the hotel. The police, as usual, were present along with a tiny rabble of counter protesters. These anti-migrant protests usually take place from midday to 3pm when the police ask it to end.

After speaking with the ladies, I was told they had also held a torch light flash demo during which migrants appeared at the windows of the hotel and made throat slitting gestures at the protesters.
