At a full meeting of Salford Council in 2023, all the Labour councillors voted to make Salford a welcoming ‘City of Sanctuary’ for immigrants, that is replacing British Salfordians with an increasingly diverse citizenry!
To make their asylum claims difficult to reject, illegal immigrant men deliberately destroy their identity papers so that they cannot be quickly vetted in Britain. Thus they remain a danger to local girls in working-class towns, such as Salford, where they are put during their long ‘limbo’ period of being assessed, with endless appeals against deportations by left-wing lawyers. So it becomes near impossible to deport these foreign men. Because they are dangerous to local residents, the Home Office usually places these, sexually active, young migrant men, into working-class northern towns (like Salford) rather than in the leafy Tory suburbs.
Prime Minister Andy Burnham has mentioned the unfairness of the current migrant dispersal system and has vowed to change it so that more affluent communities in the south of England share the danger of housing migrants. Burnham’s plan to house more ‘asylum-seekers’ in the south has been described as a fairer “rape devolution” plan!
Similarly, Reform UK has suggested housing migrants in the affluent Liberal and Green Party constituencies, where posh liberals vote for parties calling for open borders to welcome unlimited numbers of ‘refugees’.
The government is currently moving dodgy illegal immigrants from hotels into Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMO’s) right next door to English families within our neighbourhoods under their ‘Operation Scatter’ plan. The government has used Salford as a dumping ground for the endless numbers of bogus ‘asylum seekers’ with the collusion of all the traitorous Labour Party councillors and its current Labour Mayor Paul Dennett. The demographic change is striking if you now visit the Salford precinct as it is full of Africans and Asians.
Salford was awarded ‘City of Sanctuary’ status in 2023 for going above the call of duty in supporting over four times the national average of ‘refugees’. This was despite Salford already having a dire homeless crisis with huge pressure on its budgets. So it was irresponsible of Labour councillors to welcome more migrants. The duplicity of Andy Burnham pretending to be concerned about the numbers of migrants being dumped into Greater Manchester was revealed at the time of this ‘City of Sanctuary’ award by a Salford councillor.
On the 24th March 2023, Councillor Wilson Nkurunziza revealed a sensitive GMPA letter, by retweeting a tweet sent to him by the Salford Mayor Paul Dennett, with this message: “Andy Burnham and myself today signed a letter to the Secretary of State, Rt. Hon Suella Braverman, raising grave concerns on the Government’s initiation and management of streamlined asylum processing in Greater Manchester from 23rd February. The new procedures will place severe pressures on (homelessness) services” – throughout Greater Manchester.
This letter by Burnham and Dennett revealed their desire to enable as many illegal immigrants as possible to win their bogus ‘asylum’ claims. They urged Braverman to give more time for ‘asylum-seekers’ to “access scarce (legal) advice in order to protect their claim “ and not to have their claims (and associated support) withdrawn” even if they did not complete and return their asylum questionnaires in the required time!
They urged Braverman to “fully revive the Legal Aid System to ensure that it is fit for purpose”. So, Burnham wanted to increase funding for his lefty lawyer friends to endlessly appeal against rejected asylum claims!
Finally, Burnham and Dennett condemned the Conservative government’s Illegal Migration Bill, then being considered by Parliament for its “divisive rhetoric during debates on the bill”. This was because Braverman and other Tories were damaging Labour by claiming that the Labour Party wanted unlimited migration with open borders.
Indeed, nowhere did Burnham and Dennett identify in their letter that the way to lessen the housing crisis in Greater Manchester and Britain was first to stop the illegal immigrant boats coming from France. This is because Labour really wants mass immigration to change Britain into a diverse “truly multicultural” country!
Fortunately, British/English Salfordians are realising the danger that traitorous Labour councillors pose to their survival. In the May 2026 local elections a third of Salford City Council’s 60 seats were up for re-election and Reform UK won 13 of them, making them the official opposition to Labour. So, with most English Salfordians now voting for Reform UK they should end Labour’s long rule in Salford after the next May 2027 local elections!
