Solo activism in Manchester City Centre
I went into Manchester City Centre on my own with the goal of helping our folk who are struggling with homelessness. I brought them a hot coffee, fresh sandwiches, bottled water, clothing, and some basic medical supplies to hand out to anyone in need.
It’s always a humbling experience, meeting folk from all walks of life, each with their own story and struggles. I told them all about BM and the 14 words, and they all agreed with our message. Many were incredibly grateful – not just for the food or items, but simply for the conversation and kindness. It reminded me how important it is to see the humanity in all our folk, regardless of their circumstances.
This isn’t about charity – it’s about community and love for our folk. Even small gestures can go a long way, especially for those who feel forgotten. If you’re ever able to give, whether it’s your time, food, or even just a chat, it really can make a difference.
Let’s keep looking out for one another.
