In the North West, British Movement are showing what steady, long-term activism really looks like. Their work isn’t defined by one-off protests or headline grabbing moments, but by consistent effort – week after week, year after year.
BM North West activists yesterday rejuvenated our community book box, a cherished resource that promotes literacy and encourages a love for learning. This time, we focused on enriching the collection with a selection of carefully chosen British history books, which aim to deepen readers’ understanding of our nation’s past, its cultural heritage, and significant events that shaped Great Britain.

In addition to history, our activists also included engaging activity packs centred around British birds and garden wildlife. These packs are designed to inspire curiosity and appreciation for the natural world, encouraging individuals, especially children, to explore their local environment.
By combining educational literature with hands-on activities, the initiative fosters a sense of community engagement and environmental awareness, helping to cultivate a generation that values both history and nature. The restock reflects our commitment to creating a resource that not only informs but also entertains and inspires, ensuring that everyone has access to knowledge and creativity.
BM Northwest has once again shown its commitment to helping to preserve our countryside and the beauty of our Nation with another litter pick around the woodland, collecting one bag of litter. BM has shown we are men and women of action.
