A study published last year by Ann Krispenz and Alex Bertrams and headlined in the New York Post, linked left-wing extremism with personality disorders and psychopathic traits. Social justice is often used as a guise for these activists to behave unhinged, the report’s authors noted.
Defenders of ‘our way of life’, ‘tolerance’ and ‘democracy’ like our wonderful Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Michael Gove MP, should spend more time fighting the Marxists, Trotskyites and other ‘progressive’ fanatics who infest our schools, colleges and universities, brainwashing young impressionable minds. Instead, careerists like Gove chase the headlines by inflating the threat from a mythical ‘far-right’, designating groups like the BM and Patriotic Alternative as extremists.
In the study, which was published in the peer-reviewed journal Current Psychology, left-wing extremism is associated with toxic behaviour, psychopathic traits and narcissism. Anyone who has been on the receiving end of the bile spouted by these left-wing nutters will totally sympathise with the author’s findings.
Left-wing authoritarianism was measured with the Left-Wing Authoritarian Index measure. It was explained that: “the LWAI is a self-report measure with 39 items allowing for the assessment of Left-Wing Authoritarianism and its three subdimensions: anti-conventionalism e.g., “Anyone who opposes gay marriage must be homophobic”, top-down censorship e.g., “University authorities are right to ban hateful speech from campus”, and anti-hierarchical aggression e.g., “The rich should be stripped of their belongings and status”.
“For example, individuals might express their antihierarchical aggression by the endorsement of political violence to fight for social justice. Individuals with high levels of LWA are thus assumed to be hostile towards the present social and moral authorities while feeling morally superior and endorsing the use of violence to reach one’s own political goals. Thus, aggression is prevalent in individuals high in LWA.”
Organisations like the Communist Party, Socialist Workers Party, Unite Against Fascism, Antifa, Hope Not Hate, Black Lives Matter and direct-action environmental groups, are motivated by different forms of Marxism and social justice. It is time that Mr. Gove and his cronies stopped chasing favourable media headlines by inflating the threat from a mythical ‘far-right’, and went after the real extremists in society.
“Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others.”
